Cleaning the device
Disconnect the mains plug before cleaning!
•
Clean housing:
•
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, but only a dry and soft cloth.
•
Clean the prefilter (every other week):
•
Remove the prefilter from the unit as described in the chapter "Changing
the filter".
•
The prefilter can be vacuumed or washed under cold, clear water. Dry the
filter before reinserting it into the unit.
•
Clean the activated carbon/cold catalysis filter combination (every other
month):
•
Remove the filter from the unit as described in the chapter "Changing the
filter".
•
Carefully clean the front of the filter with a vacuum cleaner.
•
Place the filter in a well-ventilated place so that some of the bound gases
can escape.
•
Do not place the filter in direct sunlight.
•
When cleaning the filter, be careful not to damage it.
•
Never use water to clean this filter.
•
Clean HEPA element (every other month):
•
Remove the filter from the unit as described in the chapter "Changing the
filter".
•
Carefully clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner.
•
Place the filter in a well-ventilated place so that some of the bound gases
can escape.
•
Do not place the filter in direct sunlight.
•
When cleaning the filter, be careful not to damage it.
•
Never use water to clean this filter.
•
Clean the air outlet:
•
Switch on and disconnect the device.
•
Open the cover of the air outlet by pressing
on the cover and pulling it upwards.
•
You can now carefully clean the air outlet with
a dry cloth.
•
Then close the cover of the air outlet.
•
If the cover of the air outlet is opened, the
unit switches off automatically. The unit cannot
be restarted until the lid has been inserted correctly.
