The unit cannot be switched on or does not work.

1. Is the unit plugged in correctly?
2. Is the water tank inserted correctly?
3. Is the tank "full" indicator lit?
4. has the fuse blown?
5. Is the room temperature above 38°C (display "CH") or below 5°C (display "CL")?
6. if the above is ok, then try again in 10 minutes.
7. Is the timer function activated?
8. Is the set target humidity higher than the prevailing room humidity?
