Please note that for using the C42 Series as a tow plane for towing gliders,
towing aerial signs or decanting sky divers, different regulations may apply
in different countries. Please contact your local authorities for further
clarification.

16.2 Banner tow

I. Equipment of the towing aircraft for banner towing

In order to perform a banner tow, the aircraft must be equipped with the
same equipment as described above for towing gliders.
The following propellers are approved for banner towing when the
aircraft is equipped.

with a ROTAX 912 UL (80 PS):

Warp Drive 3-blade 68"

Neuform CR3-75 3-blade, ground adjustable propeller

with a ROTAX 912 S/ULS (100 PS):

Banners may only be picked up and towed according to approved
procedures and by aircraft with the appropriate equipment.

Banners must be made of water-resistant material.

Only banners may be used which correspond to the products
requirements defined by the organisations DAeC and DULV.
