Section 20 - Care and Cleaning

Remove Shoulder Harness Covers, Seat Pad, Head Pillow and Infant Inserts:

- Remove infant inserts, see “Infant Insert” section.

- Remove head pillow, see “Head Pillow” section.

- Remove shoulder harness covers. See “Changing Shoulder Harness Position” section.

- Remove harness straps from pad and harness strap cover, see “Changing Shoulder Harness

Position” section.

- Remove seat pad - unsnap pad at front, unhook 2 pad retainers on each side and lift pad off seat back.

Reverse above steps for replacing seat pad and harness system.

Cleaning Seat Pad, Shoulder Harness Covers, Head Pillow, and Infant Insert Pads:

Infant Inserts - Remove foam pads from seat insert.

Machine wash in cool water and mild soap. Roll in towel to remove excess water and lay flat to dry.

Cleaning Harness Straps:

Surface wash only with mild soap and damp cloth.
If harness straps are frayed or heavily soiled, they MUST be replaced.

Cleaning Shell:

Wipe with mild solution of soap and water. Avoid wetting labels.

Never use “household detergents”: they can weaken plastic.

Cleaning Buckle:

Rinse buckle with warm water. DO NOT use household detergents.

Never lubricate buckle.
