Electric al pow er supply
- Do not damage or modify the powe r c able or plug. Do not place heavy objects on the powe r c able. Do not pull on the cabl e or bend it excess ive ly. Such
actions may cause el ectrical damage that can l ead to a fire or el ectric shock.
- Do not c onnect or disconnect the plug with wet hands; ther e is a risk of electric shock.
- Do not el ectricall y overl oad the wall socket, with too much el ectrical equipment. This can c ause a fire or el ectric shock.
- The devic e should be connect ed to st andard 230 V AC, 50/60 Hz powe r sock et, with two pins and an earth connection (type E femal e wall socket, acce p-
ting type E/F male plugs – c ompliant with EEC7/7).
- The earth should be connect ed thr ough a 30 mA differ ential cir cuit br eaker . This is the only safety system prot ecting per sons and animals, and the
wall-mounted mains powe r sock et should theref ore be pr otect ed by this cir cuit br eaker, install ed by a qualified electrician, to ensur e compl ete safety .
- The electricity supply mus t corr espond to that specified on the de vice’s label, otherwise there will be a risk of fir e, el ectric shock or inc orrect operation.
If yo u don’t kno w the charact eristics of y our electricity suppl y, cont act your l ocal el ectricity distribut or.
- Do not l eave the powe r c able cl ose to objects radiating heat. The c able out er sheath ca n melt, l eading to a fire and/or el ectric shock.
- Check that the powe r c able is pr operly e xtended, with no knots, when the el ectricity is switched on. Knots in the cabl e or similar bending can lead to
fire or el ectric shock.
- Bef ore carrying out any work on the devic e, or in the event of a malfunction, switch off the devic e and disconnect the plug from the el ectrical supply
socket, with dry hands and without pulling on the c able.
CAUTION
- During storms, switch off the devic e and disconnect the powe r c able from the sock et (not e that the dat a memory will be erased when yo u swit ch off
the powe r suppl y).
- Swit ch off the electric al supply and disc onnect the powe r c able if the de vice is not going to be used for a l ong period, during holidays fo r e xample.
- If the powe r c able plug, c onnected to the mains powe r sock et, becomes excess ive ly dus ty, disconnect the plug and cl ean it with a clean, dry cl oth.
- Do not connect the de vice to a socket that is also used for other electric al equipment, such as an air conditioner, household applianc es or audio sys -
tems. Such equipment gener ates el ectrical noise that can int erfer e with the operation of y our equipment.
Handling
- Do not all ow any met al object to fall into the de vice. Do not spill any liquid or flammable substanc e ont o it. When coming into cont act with internal
high volt ages, such substanc es may cause fire or el ectric shock. If an object should fall into the de vice or if liquid is spilt on it, swit ch off the de vice’s
electric al suppl y immediat ely, and disc onnect the powe r cabl e plug from the mains powe r sock et, with dry hands. Then cont act our customer support.
- Do not use flammable aerosol products close to the devic e. If aerosol gas should come into cont act with electric al components inside the devic e, ther e
is a risk of fire.
- The devic e cont ains high volt ages. If the de vice is opened, do not leav e met al objects inside and do not touch any int ernal components as ther e is a
risk of burns or electric shock.
- Do not exert exc ess ive pres sure on the de vice cove rs and ins trument panels as there is a risk of damage and/or injury .
- Neve r lift the equipment by its hydr aulic or electric al connections.
- The manuf acturer ac cepts no liability whatsoe ver if the above safety pr ecautions are not fully observ ed.
Servicing
- Onl y the servicing pr ocedur es described in the technic al document ation should be carried out. If other servicing is requir ed, cont act our customer
support.
- The de vice should be k ept clean; an ac cumulation of dust ca n pr event pr oper operation.
