Safety

Warning:
The product becomes very hot during use. Burn hazard. Particular
attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
• Never let children use the product. The product should not be used by persons with
any form of disability, lack of experience or knowledge. The product should not be
used by persons who have not read and understood the contents of this manual.
• Never let children play with the product.
• The product should only be connected to a 220–240 V, 60 Hz mains outlet
protected by a 30 mA (RCD).
• The product is only intended for normal domestic use and only in the manner
described in this instruction manual.
• All repairs must only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
• Any damage to the mains lead must be replaced by a qualified electrician.
• Do not subject the product to knocks or shocks.
• Do not cover the product while it is in use.
• Never expose the product to water or moisture. Do not use the product in
the vicinity of bathtubs, showers or pools.
• Never use the product for drying clothes, hand towels, etc.
• Never use the product as a heat source for a sauna.
• Never use the product for keeping pets warm or as a heat source for
hatching eggs.
• The product must never be used with a timer or other equipment which turns it on
automatically.
• Never touch the product while it is switched on.
• Never leave the product unattended whilst it is in use.
• Do not use the product if it, its mains lead or plug are damaged in any way.
• Never insert any foreign objects into the product’s housing.
• Never plug the product in to an electrical socket until it is completely assembled
and mounted.
• Do not place the mains lead where it can be damaged by sharp edges or be
crushed. Do not let the mains lead come into contact with hot surfaces.
• Never place objects on top of or close to the product.
• Keep furniture and other combustible furnishings at least 1 metre away from
the product.
