Safety
• If the hair dryer is used in the bathroom, pull the plug from the wall socket
after use since proximity to water will still pose a danger even if the product
is not in use.
• For extra safety, all electrical products connected to the mains should be run
through an RCD for personal safety. The RCD should be rated to trip at:
30 mA. Consult an electrician if you are in the least uncertain.
• Before you connect the hairdryer to the mains outlet, make sure that the
voltage on the socket coincides with the hairdryer voltage.
• Keep the hairdryer away from water. Never use the hairdryer in the bathtub
or near the shower or washbasin.
• Always switch off the hairdryer if you put it down.
• Keep the hairdryer away from children.
• Never block the air intake.
• Always pull the cord out of the wall socket for cleaning.
• Do not expose the hairdryer to moisture, blows, or shocks.
• Do not use the hairdryer if the cord or plug are damaged. Also, do not use the
hairdryer if you have dropped it on the floor or in water.
• Do not open the casing. Some of the components inside the product’s casing
have live voltage. Touching them can cause electric shock.
• Do not pull the dryer by the cord. Do not use the cord as a handle and avoid
getting it pinched in a door. Do not pull it over sharp edges or corners.
• Always pull the plug from the wall socket before you clean the hairdryer or
when you do not intend to use it for some time.
• Never modify or dismantle the hairdryer.
• The hairdryer should only be repaired by qualified service personnel.
