If you still cannot read your code after following the steps in this tutorial consider the following
questions:

Is your code an AIM-standard Data Matrix ECC 200 symbol?
•
Have you optimized your image? Consider alternative lighting solutions.
•
Have you positioned the model code points accurately in the center of the four corner
cells? Note that Point 0 is the bottom left of the code, the point where the two solid lines
join.

Have you tried a variety of filter types and kernel sizes for your image filtering operation?
•
Have you selected the correct symbol format (for example, 16 row, 16 column format)?
