Question Possible cause Suggested solution
The projector is completely still. - Projector not powered up:
The circuit breaker is switched off.
The protection fuse is blown.
Check that the mains power cable is
connected to power.
Set the circuit breaker to ON.
Disconnect the projector and replace the
fuse.
The projector resets correctly, but either
does not respond, or responds
incorerctly, to DMX signal. Incorrect signal connection.
Incorrect DMX address. Inspect the signal cable, rectify any
incorrect wiring, repair or replace any
damaged cables or connectors.
Check the DMX address.
The lamp functions intermittently or does
not turn on at all. The projector is too hot. Let the fixture cool down.
Check that the air vents above the
cooling fans are not obstructed and that
the fans are working correctly.
Ensure that the ambient temperature is
below 35°C
Projection brightness appears reduced Lamp may be exhausted or not properly
aligned to optical path. Replace the lamp if exhausted.
Align the lamp to optical path.
