Illuminated Entry
When the system is UNLOCKED, the vehicle courtesy lights will turn on for 1 minute, or until the
vehicle is started or the system is re-locked.
Automatic Arming
If this feature is enabled on your system, the security system will arm automatically 1 minute
after the ignition key is turned off and the last vehicle door is closed. The dash mounted status
LED will flash rapidly indicating the 1 minute countdown. This sequence can be aborted by
opening one of the vehicle’s doors.
Ignition Lock
If all doors are closed and the vehicle is started with the key, the doors will automatically lock.
If vehicle is started with vehicle doors open, the doors will not lock and will remain unlocked
even after doors are closed
Ignition Unlock
When removing the key from the ignition, the doors will automatically unlock.
When Your Security System Is Triggered
The security system will trigger if one of the following events occurs while the system is
armed.
1.
Any protected entrance is opened.
2.
The vehicle’s ignition is turned on.
3.
The vehicle is jolted hard enough to trigger the IT-s sensor.
When the system is triggered, the vehicle’s horn will produce a series of random horn honks
called “Real Panic Sound”. The system will trigger for 30 seconds and then re-arm. The
system will also silence if the UNLOCK icon button is pressed, disarming the system and
unlocking the vehicle’s doors.
The status indicator is a high intensity blue light that is mounted on the vehicle’s dash. The
status LED is used to warn a would-be thief that the vehicle is protected. The status LED is
also used to alert you of the vehicles status.
