The Radiophone front panel

The front panel of the Radiophone control head (figure 2.1 on page 2-7) has the
following designations:

On/Off

Switches the transceiver on or off.

The indicator is lit when the transceiver is
transmitting.

S’Call

OTC

Transmits a selective call to a selected OTC
(Telstra) station.

Call

Selective

Transmits either a selective call or tone call on the
selected channel.

USB

LSB

Selects USB or LSB mode.

Tune

Transmits a carrier signal so that the automatic
antenna system can be tuned.

Enter

Sets the transceiver to accept programmed
information.
