Adding and subtracting measurements
Addition function
1. Press
to switch the distance meter on.
2. Aim the laser beam at the first target point and press
to make a measurement.
The result is shown on the main line.
3. Press
. The first measurement moves up on the display and a new line with
a plus “+” appears on the display.
4. Aim the laser beam at the second target point and press
to make
a measurement.
5. The new measurement will appear on the “+” line and the sum of the two
measurements will appear on the main line.
Subtraction function
Refer to the above instructions but press
instead. A line with a “−” (minus sign) will
appear on the display.
Area
Note:
When measuring areas, volumes, Pythagoras 2-point, Pythagoras 3-point and
Pythagoras partial height measurements, the part of the display icon which is to be
measured next will flash.
1. Press
to switch the distance meter on.

once and aim the laser beam at the first target point.
3. Press
. The first measurement will appear on the display.
4. Aim the laser beam at the second target point.
5. Press
. Both of the measurements will be shown at the top of
the display and the area will appear on the line below them.
Circumference
Hold in
for 2 seconds after completion of an area measurement. The circumference
of the measured area will appear on the display.
