Attaching/changing the sanding belt
Note:
Make sure that the sanding belt is fitted
the right way round. Both the sander and
the sanding belt (75 × 533 mm) are marked with
the direction of rotation (B), both marks should be
pointing the same way.
Centre the sanding belt
1. Turn the sander upside down.
2. Depress the power switch and check how
the belt runs.
3. Turn the adjustment knob (C) clockwise or
anticlockwise to centre the belt if required.
Note:
The belt must be centred otherwise it will fray at
the edges and soon need to be replaced.
1. Release the tensioner (A).
2. Fit the sanding belt over the rollers.
3. Lock the tensioner again.
