IMPORTANT:
Make sure your player has a new battery
installed before upgrading your firmware. Do not
disconnect your player from the computer or otherwise
interrupt the upgrade process-doing so could damage
your player and render it inoperable.

Check this site periodically for new updates. Fi rmware
updates may add new functionality to your player.
To upgrade your player 's firmware:
1.Download the latest firmware for your player from
. Save this file to the computer.
2.Conne ct your player to the computer.
3.Doubl e-cl ick the downloa ded file*. In the window
that appears, double-click the file "stupdaterapp.exe".
This will launch the firmware update application.
4.A dialog box will appear. Click "OK".
5. The updater will commence searching for your
connected player. When it ha s detected your player,
you will see the screen below.

6.Click "Sta rt" to begin the firmware update.
7.The update is compl ete when the green status bar
has b een filled. Click "Close".
8.Disco nnect your pla yer from the computer.
Your player wi ll turn on automatically and up date its
firmware.

Do NOT disconnect your player while it is updating.
