Press the Power Button.

In Tone and Voice modes, the unit will announce
“Testing” and the display will show four typical
alerts – X, L(Laser), V(VG2), W(Emergency Vehicle) and
announce “System Ready”. The system indicates if
Voice Alert™ or Tone only mode has been selected and
if VG2 audio alert is turned on or off.

Set Volume
Adjust the volume up or down using the volume
rocker switch on side of unit.

The volume control has 8 volume settings,
levels 0-8. As the level is increased, “Voice
Alert™” or the beep tone will allow you to hear
the volume level. At level 8 a “beep beep” is
heard indicating maximum volume. When the
volume is turned to “0”, (off ) you will not hear a
beep, but the
(power) will blink.
Note
Pressing the volume up
button while you turn on
unit will show all 10 Alerts
with their Tones.
