STEP 1
11. X12 Version only - Mode (PTT Button) can be programmed for one of two modes.
Mode 1
– Used as PTT belt packs. You can have and unlimited number of PTT belt packs.
Please note: Only one PTT user can transmit at a time. The second attempt by a PTT user
will hear three beep tones indicating that another user is using the PTT feature.
Mode 2
– Preset before leaving the factors. In this is an optional feature and is used to
communicate from the belt pack to the wireless mini helmet receiver. There are two
modes that can be programmed.
(1) An X12 belt pack can be assigned to a specific group of helmet
receivers regardless of the channel being used.
(2) A X2 belt pack can be programmed to communicate to different
groups of helmet receivers by switching channels on the X12.
Press and hold button to go to menu and then select “8. Information”.

12. Mic Mute
User 1~12 can mute or un-mute the microphone by (1) quickly pressing the
“M”
or (2),
Raising the microphone boom upwards to mute the belt pack or down to un-mute the belt
pack. The user will hear the word “Mute” when the belt pack is first muted. Users can only
listen if they mute the belt pack.
On the X12 or XLE, push ‘M’
button to toggle between
mute and un-mute. On the
X12E is to switch between
Group 1 and Group 2.
When the microphone boom is up,
the belt pack is muted.
When the microphone boom is
down, the belt pack is not muted.
