SISAL SEAGRASS CARPET
ALTERNATIVE CLEANING
INSTRUCTIONS
Use the following instructions from Syntec
Industries to clean your Sisal Seagrass mats.
Both Textilene and Earthtex yarns are used in the
production of these Interior and Exterior Designs
Collection. Textilene is a new low-VOC emitting
vinyl, which can easily be cleaned by vacuuming or
damp mopping. A mild detergent is best to clean
even the toughest stains. Textilene fabric is also
U.V. Stable and Anti-microbial.
Earthtex yarns (chenille and textured polypropylene
yarns) are used in conjunction with the Textilene
yarn and may be cleaned in the same manner. Both
Textilene and Earthtex yarns and fabric are
recyclable. Earthtex is also U.V. Stable and
Anti-microbial.
Outdoor rugs and mats may be hosed off and then
left to dry. Hanging the mat or rug accelerates
drying time. It is best to always hang or roll these
products with the face out.
The urethane backing does absorb water, but dries
in a relatively quick time.
The backing is recyclable, as is the face fabric.
Care instructions:
• For storage, always roll with the face of product
out WITH THE BACKING FACING IN, do not
fold or crease, backing may split.
• Split or cracked backing due to folding or rolled
carpet standing on end will void any existing
warranties.
• Vacuum or hose off for regular cleaning. Dry
face up or hanging.
CABINETRY AND WOOD
Cabinetry
Clean with any water-rinseable non-abrasive
cleaner.
Rosewood Dash
Your Cobalt boat may be equipped with a
Rosewood veneer dash, which will maintain its
natural beauty and high-gloss sheen when properly
maintained.
• For routine cleaning wipe the wood surface
with a damp, soft cotton cloth. For thorough
cleaning, wash surface with a mild solution of
soap and water, and dry with a soft cotton cloth.
• Wax or rubbing compound can be used
occasionally when necessary.
• Apply liquid wax product lightly with your
fingertips. Work from the center of the wood
surface outward. Rub in a circular motion and
stop about 1/4 inch from exterior edges of the
wood. Remove wax with a clean, soft cloth.
• For difficult-to-clean surfaces 3M Perfect-It III
rubbing compound and a 3M “Type T”
scrubbing pad can be used. Use rubbing
compound carefully, following manufacturer’s
instructions.
• Do not use cleaners or polishes containing
alcohol, ammonia, abrasives, oily emollients or
petroleum-based materials.
• Avoid saturating edges of wood laminate with
polish or wax. In some instances, foam-backed
tape used in manufacturing will absorb and
retain these substances and result in
premature fading and/or discoloration of your
Rosewood dash. If cleaners or waxes come in
contact with edges of the wood laminate, clean
the surface immediately with a mild solution of
soap and water.
Waterfall Bubinga or Birdseye Maple Dash
Your Cobalt boat may be equipped with an optional
Waterfall Bubinga or Birdseye Maple Dash.
