Switching the pressure washer off
Note:
Remember that the pressure washer may still be under pressure even when
switched off. Depressurize the pressure washer by holding the trigger in until no water
comes out before disconnecting the hoses. Disconnecting the pressure hose while
the system is still under pressure can be dangerous.
1. Set the power switch to the
OFF/0
position.
2. Unplug the mains lead from the wall socket.
3. Turn off the inlet water supply.
4. Minimise the pressure on the remaining water in the pump and hose by pressing
the trigger for a few seconds or as long as it takes for all the water to run out of
the nozzle.
5. Disconnect the garden hose from the coupling on the pressure washer.
Care and maintenance
• Unplug the mains lead before carrying out any maintenance, repairs or service.
• Unplug the pressure washer when it is not in use.
