– Before opening, clean the tank cover (2) and the
filler neck if necessary.
– Slowly open and remove the tank cover (2).
– Carefully top up the fuel (maximum quantity:
). Do not spill!
– Check the seal in the tank cover (2) for damage
and clean if necessary.
Replace a damaged seal immediately!
– Tighten the tank cover (2) with seal by hand.
– If fuel has been spilled: Make sure any fuel is
wiped away.
Operation
Check before starting!
Check the safe condition of the product:
– Check whether there is any leakage.
– Check whether there are any visible defects.
Setting the flow rate

– Turn the setting screw (16) to set the required
delivery quantity (see table).
– The arrow pointing towards the outlet opening
indicates the set delivery quantity.
– Loosen collar (19).
– Gently pull out the nozzle head (17).
• Pulling out the nozzle head (17) makes the spray
pattern narrower and more precise.
Filling with fluid
– Unscrew the container (1) and raise the cover (5)
slightly.
– The strainer must remain in the container.
– Fill with fluid and screw the container (1)
cover (5) on by hand.
Fitting the granulate insert

– Loosen nut and washer (20) on both sides and
remove.
– Raise the container (1) slightly.
– Remove hoses and strainer from insert (21) and
container as these are not required for granulate.
– Take out the insert (21) and replace it with the
granulate insert (22).
– Remount the container (1) and fasten it on both
sides using a screw and washer (20).

– Set the On/Off switch (a) to I.

– Turn on the fuel cock (7) (set to vertical).
– If the motor is cold:
Move the cold start lever (9) upwards.

– Slowly pull out the pull-starter (8) until the starter
engages.
– Keep pulling the pull-starter (8) until the motor
starts.
– If the motor does not start, repeat the starting
procedure.
• Let the motor run for 2-3 minutes.
• Press the switch-on safety lock (c) and press the
throttle (d) on the control handle (14) lightly, but
do not apply full throttle.
– Should the motor have been started using the
cold start lever:
Push the cold start lever back into the original
position.
Risk of injury!
The product must only
be put into operation if no defects are
found. Ensure that any defective parts
are replaced before the product is
used again.

Danger of fire!
Spilled fuel can set the
product on fire. Carefully wipe up any
spilled fuel up before starting. Start the
product a minimum of nine metres
away from where you filled it.
This preserves the pull-starter and
motor:
Pull the pull-starter max. 50 cm
out and let it run back in slowly by
hand.
