Installing the UF400e driver in OS X
As mentioned above, the UF400e uses the operating system’s CoreAudio and
CoreMIDI drivers. It’s therefore not necessary to install a device-specifi c driver.
Simply plug the device into your FireWire™ port and it’s available immediately.
However, to take full advantage of advanced routing, samplerate switching and other
features, please install the included Control Panel. Simply run the installer in the
Driver & Control Panel\MAC folder.
The UF400e as a system audio device (Mac OS X)
If you would like to use the UF400e not only for specifi c audio applications, but as
your default Mac OS X audio device, select the UF400e audio driver in the “Sound”
control panel as the default device for audio output.
