For Hollow-Wall Construction Mount:
• Place the EVSE so both mounting tabs can take advantage of solid
structural framing inside of the wall or a strong wall surface. See
Hollow-Wall Construction in Figure 5A.
• Use proper anchoring hardware such as drywall toggles or molly
bolts if unable to mount hardware into a solid surface. See
Hollow-Wall Construction in Figure 5B.
For Solid-Wall Construction Mount:
• To secure the unit in concrete, pre-drill appropriately sized holes
and use multi-set or wedge anchor hardware at both mounting
points.
• To secure the unit in brick or stone, pre-drill appropriately sized
holes and use sleeve anchors at both mounting points.
