Test 5: Leave the engine running. It should turn itself off after 30 minutes.
If the IntelliStart 4 remote engine starter does not pass any of the above tests, verify all wiring connections and retest the system
thoroughly.
FOR ALL MAN UAL TRANS MIS SIONS, PER FORM THE FOL LOW ING STEPS:
1) Start the car us ing the ig ni tion key.
2) Set the emer gency brake.
3) Set the heat or AC to ON.
4) MAKE SURE THE CAR IS IN NEU TRAL.
5) Trans mit the man ual trans mis sion en able func tion by pressing button 11 on the master re mote con trol.
6) Turn the key OFF and exit. The car stays run ning.
7) Close all doors, arm the alarm. The en gine stops run ning. You are now in man ual trans mis sion mode.
8) Pro vided the doors are never opened or the alarm is not trig gered, the re mote start func tion will start the ve hi cle’s en gine. If a door
is opened or if the alarm is triggered, manual transmission mode is canceled.
9) Press button 4 on the master remote or the

button on the companion remote to start the engine.
