TO ARM
THE SYSTEM . . . . . . .
Press button 1/channel 1 once. You will hear two chirps and
the indicator lights will flash twice. The system LED will flash
repeatedly and the vehicle’s doors will automatically lock.
TO DISARM
THE SYSTEM . . . . . . .
Press button 1/channel 1 again. One chirp and one indicator
light flash confirms disarming. The doors will automatically
unlock and the interior lights will turn on and stay on for 30
seconds or until you start the engine, whichever occurs first.
TO SILENTLY
ARM OR DISARM
THE SYSTEM . . . . . . .
Press button 3/channel 3. Concept 50 will arm or disarm with
all the indications noted above except for the chirps.
TO ACTIVATE
THE PANIC
FEATURE . . . . . . . . . .
Press and hold button 1/channel 1 for 3 seconds. The indicator
lights will flash repeatedly and the siren will blare for 30 or 60
seconds (user-selectable), or until you transmit channel 1 again to
turn it off. For your personal safety, if the ignition is on (indi-
cating you are in the vehicle), the doors automatically lock to
prevent entry. If the ignition is off, the doors automatically unlock
to allow you to enter without having to fumble with the keys.

Button 2/channel 2 controls an option such as a remote boot
release, remote memory seat activation, the IntelliStart remote
engine starter accessory or another remote controlled option.

OR CONTROL
ANOTHER OPTION . .
If so wired, button 4/channel 4 will either turn on the headlights
for a duration of your choosing (your installer can set the
duration to any interval you wish between one second and two
minutes) OR will close the power windows and sunroof on
various Jaguar, Mercedes Benz, BMW and Volkswagen
vehicles. Alternatively, this output could also be used for a
second remote controlled accessory such as those noted above.

OTHER VEHICLES . . . .
Channels 5–8 and 10–12 (see Your 4-button/12-channel
remote controls on page 7) can be programmed to operate
Concept system(s) and optional accessories on your other
car(s).
WHAT ABOUT
CHANNEL 9? . . . . . . .
Channel 9 remotely overrides both system sensors. See
Remote controlled sensor override on page 12.
