Removing the Hard Disk Drive Assembly
1. Remove the battery ( page 2 - 6 ) and turn the computer over.
2. Slide up the HDD assembly latch , and hold it in place.
3. Slide the HDD assembly out of the computer ( Figure 2 - 2b ).
4. Place the HDD on a flat surface and remove screws - , then carefully ease off the connector ( Figure 2 -
2c ).

tion of the arrow.
c. Remove the screws
and connector.
