  that the cables are connected correctly 

  the ring and pinion in the reduction motor differential housing  

 

e.  The suction motor does not start, check 

  that the centre brush is lowered and rotating 

  all points in 5.a 

 

f.  Inadequate suction, check: 

  That the fan is on 

  the fuse 

  the condition of the fan 

  Replace damaged parts if necessary  

  the air filter: if dirty, shake for 15 seconds 

  if encrusted, dry thoroughly and replace  

  If damaged or irrecoverable, replace the filter  

  the condition of the rubber flaps enclosing the working area of the centre brush. If broken, 

damaged or missing, replace, 

  that the bin is correctly attached, 

  the motor, as described in point 5.f 

 

g.  Dirt is not collected, check: 

  that the centre brush is lowered, 

  that the bin is not full. Empty if necessary 

  the position and condition of the rubber flaps enclosing the working area of the brush, 

replace if necessary, 

  wear of the centre and side brushes, if worn, replace 

  that the battery charge is adequate - if necessary, recharge - note the red light on the 

charge indicator on the control panel 

 

h.  The machine does not move either forwards or backwards, check: 

  that the hand brake is off, 

  the drive motor (see point 5.b) 

 

i.  The bin does not lift, check:  (130 B only) 

  The lifting fuse 

  that the centre brush is off and raised 

  that the pump is correctly wired 

  the inverter in the cabling 

  that the pump is not burned out
