Cleaning the Motor Filters
1. Empty the dust container (

) (see “Emptying the Dust Container”). Do not close the
bottom
fl
ap (

).
2. Remove the foam
fi
lter from the dust container.
3. Reach into the dust container. Turn the
fi
lter holder (

) a little until it is released and
can be removed.
4. Pull the HEPA
fi
lter (

) out of the
fi
lter holder.
5. Tap out the
fi
lter and the
fi
lter holder and clean them with
a soft brush if necessary.
6. Rinse the
fi
lter holder with clear water.
IMPORTANT:
Do
not use water to clean the HEPA
fi
lter or the foam
fi
lter!
7. Wipe out the dust container with a damp cloth if necessary.
8. Let all parts dry completely in the air before you reassemble them.
IMPORTANT:
Never assemble wet or damp components or attach them to the motor unit
(

The device is assembled in the reverse order.
Cleaning the Motor Unit and Accessories
• Wipe off the motor unit (

), the extension tube (

) and the nozzles with a soft, moist
cloth as needed. Then dry it with a soft cloth.
• Regularly remove hair and
fl
uff from the nozzles and brushes.
• Remove the dust cloth from the dusting mop (

) and wash it as per the washing
instructions.
Please note:
Do not use fabric softener. Wash separately or with the
same colours.
Cleaning the Electrical Floor Nozzle
To make it easier to clean, the brush can be removed from the electrical
fl
oor nozzle (

):
1. Slide the latch fastener on the bottom of the electrical
fl
oor
nozzle towards the small wheel.
2. Open the latch and remove.
3. Take out the brush and remove any contamination.
4. Reinsert the brush. When you do this,
fi
rst insert the end
with the star-shaped recess.
5. Insert the latch and slide the latch fastener back in place.
