4. Insert the water tank into the holder for the water tank (

). Insert it so that the
marking on the device points towards the
position on the water tank. Turn the
water tank clockwise so that the marking points towards the position. The water
tank is now
fi
xed in the holder (

).
5. Plug the mains plug into a properly installed plug socket that is easily accessible.
6. Press the
button (

). The red control lamp (

ashes and the device starts to
heat up. When the control lamp is permanently lit, the device is ready for use.
CAUTION – Danger of Scalding!
Only use the device when the control lamp is
permanently lit. Operating temperature has then been reached. If the device is
used before the control lamp is constantly lit, hot water may escape.
7. Set the steam level you want by pressing the
button several times. There are
two steam levels which are displayed via the colour of the steam lamp (

):
Press 1 x green
max. 17 g / min
Press 2 x blue
max. 25 g / min
Press 3 x o
ff
device is heating but does not produce any steam
8. Move the attachment or the steam bottom (

) in strokes over the fabric
.
The device
emits steam continuously. It is important for the attachment to touch the fabric so that
it is smoothed.
9. During prolonged use the device switches to standby mode after approx. 10 minutes. By
pressing the
button again, steam can be generated again.
10. After use or if there are lengthy pauses, switch o
ff
the device by pressing the
but-
ton for approx. 3 seconds. If the device is in standby mode for more than 30 minute,
it will switch o
ff
automatically.
11. Remove the mains plug from the plug socket.
Tips on Use
• Delicate items of clothing should always be steamed inside out.
• Trousers are easier to smooth if they are hung up by the trouser legs.
• The
device
without an attachment
is suitable for freshening up items of clothing
such as blouses, shirts (e.g. made of cotton or similar materials) or for curtains.
• The
brush attachment
(
E
) is suitable for freshening up home textiles such as uphol-
stery, curtains and similar items (
Picture C
).
• The
fi
bre brush attachment
(
F
) can be used to smooth and freshen up items of
clothing made from cotton, silk etc. as well as
fi
ner fabrics (
Picture D
).
• The device can be
folded up
to make it easier to store or to transport it. To do
this, press the release button (

) and twist the handle (

) anticlockwise (

PLEASE NOTE:
The water tank (
C
) must not be mounted on the device.
Turn the handle clockwise before using it again. The release button is automatically
released and reverts back to its starting position.
• If the water tank should not be available, e.g. when travelling, the device can also be
used with the
adapter
(

) and a standard bottle with a screw cap:

Guide the adapter into a bottle
fi
lled with water and turn it clockwise to secure it in
place.
