The device must be kept away from

when it is switched
on or cooling down.

The device must be disconnected from the mains power by
pulling out the mains plug after use, when left unattended and
before cleaning it.

CAUTION – Hot surface!
You should only touch the device on the handle and
on the On / Off switch when you are using it. Parts of
the device may also still be very hot shortly after use.
Always allow them to cool down completely

touching them.

The feed opening for the water tank must not be opened during
use.
■
The liquid or steam must not be aimed directly at electrical equip-
ment and devices containing electrical components.
■
The device must not be used if it has been dropped, if obvious
signs of damage are visible or if it has leaks.

Do not make any modi

cations to the device. If the device or
the connecting cable are damaged, they must be replaced by
the manufacturer, customer service department or a specialist
workshop in order to avoid any hazards.

It is essential to follow the instructions in the “Filling the Water
Tank” chapter.
