Transport, packaging, storage

6.1 Delivery

Check the Water pump on delivery for any visible trans-
portation damage. If you notice any damage to the de-
vice please report this immediately to the carrier or de-
aler. 

6.2 Transport

During transport, the water pump must be well secured 
so that it can not tip over.  

6.3 Packaging

All used packaging materials and packaging aids are 
recyclable and should be taken to a materials recycling 
depot to be disposed of.The delivery packaging is made 
of cardboard, so please dispose carefully by having it 
chopped up and given to the recycling collection.

The film is made of polyethylene (PE) and the cushioned 
parts of polystyrene (PS). Deliver these substances to a 
collection point for recyclable materials or to the waste 
disposal company which looks after your region.

6.4 Storage

Store the water pump thoroughly cleaned in a dry, clean 
and frost-free environment. Water pumps must not be 
stacked on top of each other. Nor may other objects be 
placed on top of it.

Step 1: Switch off the water pump and empty it completely. 

Step 2: Wipe all accessible surfaces and let the water 

pump dry.

Step 3: Rinse the pump out with fresh, clean water and 

store it in a dry and frost-free place (at least 5°C).

Installation

8.1 Notes on installation

DANGER!

Let the water pump cool down completely and empty 
it completely.

DANGER!

Risk of frost: If the electric pump has to be switched 

off below 0 °C, make sure that there is 
no liquid left in the pump. This will pre-
vent parts of the electric pump from 
being damaged.

DANGER!

 The pump and the entire connection system must be 
protected from frost and weather influences. 

DANGER!

Use a fastening rope to immerse and pull up the 
pump to prevent damage to the power cable.

DANGER!

Operate the pump only when the suction area is fully 
immersed.
