Unpacking the Device
• Remove the main device and accessories from the box.
• Also remove any packaging materials that may be present.
• Check the scope of delivery.
Initial Operation
Fill in Water
NOTE:
• The maximum filling capacity is 220 ml. Use the measur-
ing cup provided.
• Recommendation: Use distilled water to prevent calcification.
CAUTION:
Do not use battery water, water from tumble dryers or water
with additives such as cleaning agents, alcohol, fabric
softener or other chemicals. They could cause hazards or
damage to the appliance.
WARNING: Risk of injury!
1. Disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket.
2. Only open the appliance after the pressure has been
released. Press the steam button to do so.
3. If the appliance is still warm, wait approx. 5 minutes until
removing the lid.
4. Press down the lid and turn it anticlockwise to remove.
5. Pour any remaining water from the boiler in order to avoid
overfilling.
6. Use the funnel to fill the boiler with a maximum of 220 ml of
water.
• Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact an
authorized technician. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capa-
bilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
• This appliance is not designed to be immersed in water during
cleaning. Please follow the instructions that we have included for
you in the chapter on “Cleaning”.
