Cleaning
WARNING:
• Always disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket
before cleaning!
• Make sure no water enters the openings of the appli-
ance during cleaning. Otherwise this might result in
an electric shock or fire.
CAUTION:
• Do not spray the appliance with cleaning agents.
• Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
Filter
When using the appliance daily, clean the filter every 2 weeks. If dust in
the filters blocks the air circulation, efficient operation of the appliance can
no longer be guaranteed.
1. Remove the exhaust air hose with the adapter.
2. Pull out the filter on the side of the appliance.
3. Remove the filter from the back of the appliance. Use a tool (for
example, a screwdriver). Attach the tool to the locking tabs and lever
the cover off.
4. Vacuum the filters for cleaning.
5. Clean the filters under running water. If necessary, use a mild detergent.
6. Let the filters air-dry in a shady place.
7. Reinstall the filters when completely dry.
CAUTION:
Do not operate the appliance without the filter!
Housing
• Use a vacuum cleaner to vacuum the fins and ventilation openings.
• Wipe the housing with a slightly damp cloth.
Seasonal Cleaning and Storage
When not using the appliance for a long period of time, proceed as
follows:
1. Empty the water tank as described above.
2. Operate the appliance in “Fan” mode for 2 hours in order to dry the
inside of the appliance.
3. Press the POWER button to turn off the appliance. Disconnect the
mains plug from the wall socket.
4. Disconnect the flexible exhaust pipe from the appliance.
5. Clean the filters and the appliance as described above.
6. Cover the appliance with foil.
7. Always store the appliance out of the reach of children in a dry, well
ventilated place.

Battery Disposal
