1 - Intended Use
The product is designed to charge and maintain 6V/12V lead-acid and Lithium batteries with a
capacity of
• 4 to 120Ah (OE 8004)
• 4 to 150Ah (OE 8006)
• 4 to 200Ah (OE 8010)
CAUTION !! IF need to charge for 12V LFP(lithium iron phosphate) batteries, USE THIS MODE
WITH EXTREME CARE. THIS MODE SHOULD ONLY BE USED WITH 12-VOLT LITHIUM BATTERIES
THAT HAVE A BUILT-IN BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (BMS). LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES ARE
MADE AND CONSTRUCTED IN DIFFERENT WAYS AND SOME MAY OR MAY NOT CONTAIN A
BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (BMS). CONSULT THE LITHIUM BATTERY MANUFACTURER
BEFORE CHARGING AND ASK FOR RECOMMENDED CHARGING RATES AND VOLTAGES. SOME
LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES MAY BE UNSTABLE AND UNSUITABLE FOR CHARGING.
The charger has been optimised to maintain the battery of your motorcycle or car when it is not
being used over longer periods of time, for example over the winter. The charger is designed to
charge Lithium, Gel, AGM and standard lead-acid batteries.
Any use other than that described above will damage this product and involves the risk of short
circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
2 - Preparing to Charge
1. If necessary to remove battery from vehicle to charge,always remove grounded terminal from
battery first.Make sure all accessories in the vehicle are off,so as not to cause an arc.
2. Be sure area around battery is well ventilated while battery is being charged.
3. Clean battery terminals. Be careful to keep corrosion from coming in contact with eyes.
