Safety
• Be careful,
the jug and its lid become very hot
during use.
• The soup maker must only be connected to a 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz earthed outlet.
• The soup maker may be used by children aged 8 or over provided they have been instructed
in the safe use of the appliance and that they understand the hazards or risks involved.
Cleaning and maintenance may be carried out by children aged 8 or over, but only under
adult supervision.
• The soup maker may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability,
lack of experience or knowledge which could jeopardise their safety, provided they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand
the hazards involved. Never let children play with the soup maker.
• Keep the soup maker and its mains lead out of reach of children under the age of 8.
• Never use the soup maker if it or the mains lead has been damaged in any way.
• The soup maker is only intended for normal domestic use and only in the manner described
in this instruction manual.
• Never leave the soup maker unattended during use.
• Always keep hands, fingers and loose clothing away from the blade while it is spinning.
• Never attempt to switch the soup maker on when the jug is empty.
• Make sure that the lid is properly closed before switching the soup maker on.
• Never immerse the soup maker, its mains lead or plug in water or other liquid.
• Never move the soup maker whilst it is switched on.
• Never allow water or other liquids to come into contact with the electrical connectors.
If this should happen, unplug the soup maker from the wall socket immediately and dry
the connectors thoroughly.
• This soup maker contains no parts that you can repair yourself. Any repairs and servicing
of the appliance must only be carried out by qualified service technicians.
• Always unplug the soup maker from the wall socket after use and before cleaning.
• Place the soup maker on a firm, level surface where there is no risk of it tipping over.
• Position the soup maker where air can circulate freely around it during use.
• The exterior of the jug can become hot during use, only touch the handle.
• The soup maker is intended for indoor use only.
• Do not handle the plug or soup maker with wet hands.
• Do not position or use the soup maker where there is a risk of it falling into water or other
liquid. Do not use the appliance in a wet or humid environment.
• Use and store the soup maker out of reach of children.
• Do not connect the soup maker to a wall socket to which other appliances are already connected.
