and then save it for future reference. We reserve the right for

Safety
• Do not place the Bluetooth speaker where it could fall into water
or other liquids. Do not place any objects which contain liquid
onto the Bluetooth speaker such as vases, drinks, etc.
• Never subject the Bluetooth speaker to high temperature, dust,
heavy vibration, impacts, humidity or moisture.
• Never attempt to tamper with or modify the Bluetooth speaker
in any way.
Buttons and functions
Switching the Bluetooth speaker on/off
Switching on and pairing with an external device
1. Hold down [
] for 3 seconds. [

] flash alternately.
The Bluetooth speaker is now switched on and in search mode.
2. Activate Bluetooth on the device to be paired and place it into
search mode.
3. The Bluetooth speaker will appear as “Jmusic” on your device.
Select this as the device to be paired. Refer to your device’s
instruction manual if you are unsure.
Note:
If you are prompted to enter a PIN code, you should enter
0000
(four noughts). Certain devices may even require you to
approve the connection.
If the latest device that the Bluetooth speaker was paired with is
switched on and in range when the Bluetooth speaker is switched
on, it will connect automatically.
Switching off
Hold down [
] for 3 seconds.
Bluetooth button
This button is used to switch between input audio devices when
the Bluetooth speaker is switched on.
Example:
The Bluetooth speaker is switched on and paired with a tablet.
You wish to switch input audio device and use your moblie phone
as input audio device instead, do as follows:
1. Hold down [
] for 3 seconds. [
]
and

] flash alternately.
2. Activate Bluetooth on the device to be paired and place it into
search mode.
3. The Bluetooth speaker will appear as “Jmusic” on your device.
Select this as the device to be paired. Refer to your device’s
instruction manual if you are unsure.
Note:

Handsfree function
Note:
The functions described below only work when your mobile
phone is connected via Bluetooth.
• When the Bluetooth speaker is connected to your mobile phone
via Bluetooth, the Bluetooth speaker can be used to make and
answer phone calls.
• If your mobile phone supports voice dialling, you can use
the Bluetooth speaker’s built-in microphone to make such
calls. Refer to your mobile phone’s instruction manual if you
are unsure.
Speakerphone function
1. Make a call using your phone’s keypad as usual.
2. When the call is answered, the audio of the call will be heard on
the Bluetooth speaker.
Redialling the last number called
Press [
] 2 times to call the previous number dialled.
Voice dialling
Press [
] twice, wait for a voice prompt and say the name of
the person you want to call (speak into the Bluetooth speaker’s
microphone).
Note:
Some mobile phone may not support this feature.
Answering, ending and rejecting incoming calls
When the Bluetooth speaker is switched on and connected to
a mobile phone via Bluetooth and there is an incoming call, you will
hear an audible signal (type of signal is subject to the mobile phone).
• Press [
] once to answer a call.
• Press [
] once to end a call.
• Press and hold [
] 2 seconds to reject a call.
Transferring calls from the Bluetooth speaker
to a mobile phone
• You can transfer calls from the Bluetooth speaker to a mobile
phone by holding down [ VOL+,

l ] and [ VOL-, l
◄◄
]
simultaneously.
• If you want to transfer the call back to the Bluetooth speaker,
hold down the same two keys again.
Note:
Some mobile phones may require confirmation or additional
actions. Refer to your mobile phone’s instruction manual if you
are unsure.
Playback from an external device via the line-in jack
1. Connect the included 3.5 mm cable to your external device and
to the jack (2) on the Bluetooth speaker.
2. Switch the Bluetooth speaker on.
3. Start and control other playback settings from the external device.
4. Any playback via Bluetooth will be interupted when the 3.5 mm
cable is connected.
Note:
It is not possible to control playback from the Bluetooth
speaker when an external device is connected to the line-in jack.
Care and maintenance
• Clean the Bluetooth speaker using a lightly moistened cloth.
Only use mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive
chemicals.
• If the Bluetooth speaker is not to be used for a long time,
the battery should be charged once a year to prolong its
service life.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regula-
tions. If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your local authority.

Troubleshooting guide
The Bluetooth
speaker will not
switch on.
•
Make sure that the battery is fully
charged.
Poor sound
or no sound
during Bluetooth
playback.
•
Check the volume.
•
Make sure that there is no cable
connected to the 3.5 mm line-in jack
when using Bluetooth.
•
Make sure that the Bluetooth
connection is functioning properly.
•
Test the playback from your external
device before connecting it.
•
Try playback using another file or format
e.g. MP3. The file you are attempting to
play may be incompatible or damaged.
•
Make sure that no other Bluetooth
device is already connected.
Poor sound or

Make sure that the 3.5 mm audio cable
is undamaged and securely connected
to the device and the speaker.

Check the volume on the connected
device and the speaker.

Operating instructions
Recharging the battery
Note:
Charge the battery until it is fully charged before using
the Bluetooth speaker for the first time.
1. Make sure that the Bluetooth speaker is switched off.
2. Connect the included USB cable to the charging port (1) on
the Bluetooth speaker and to a computer or other USB charger.
3. [
] shines steadily when charging is in progress. The symbol
goes off when the battery is fully charged.
Note:
[
] flashes and
the Bluetooth speaker emits an audible signal when the battery
is low.
