1. The soleplate becomes extremely hot during use. Never leave the iron unattended
when it is plugged in or while the soleplate is still hot.
2. Plug the mains lead into an earthed wall socket. The first indicator light will come on.
3. Set the desired temperature. The indicator light next to the temperature control will
come on to show that the iron is heating up. When the light turns off, the iron has
reached the desired operating temperature. If the temperature drops below the set
temperature the iron will begin reheating and the indicator light will come on again.
Steam ironing
Steam ironing is only possible at high temperatures.
1. Set the desired temperature.
2. Set the steam level (12).
3. Wait until the iron reaches operating temperature and the indicator light has turned off.
Ironing using the steam shot
The steam shot function can be used for both dry ironing and steam ironing if
the temperature control is set to a high temperature. The steam shot feature can help
you eliminate stubborn creases.
1. Hold the iron over the piece of clothing.
2. Press the steam shot button (max 2 seconds) until
the steam begins flowing through the holes of
the soleplate.
3. Release the steam shot button.
4. As soon as you hold the iron horizontally it will
produce steam and you may begin ironing.
Note:
If the iron produces drops of water, it may be
that the iron is set at too low a temperature. Adjust to
the appropriate temperature.
After use
1. Let the iron cool completely.
2. Empty the water tank.
3. Wind the power cable around the neck of
the handle and fasten it to the cable fastener on
the front of the iron.
