To weigh milk or water
The scale can calculate the volume of full-fat milk (3 %) or water and display a reading in either
millilitres (ml) or fluid ounces (fl.oz). The below example shows the weighing of milk in another
container, not the in the included bowl.
Turn the scale on.
Select function (weighing of milk).
The display will show the symbol indicating weighing of milk.
Place the container onto the scale. The display will show that the container
corresponds to 87 ml. Press [
/ZERO ] to set the scale to zero.
The scale will be set to zero. Pour in the milk.
The scale will show that the amount of milk is 587 ml. Press [ UNIT ] to
show the weight of the milk.
The display will show that the milk weighs 605 g.
Tare function
– to add the correct amount of ingredients when you are baking for instance.
Turn on the scale according to the above and weigh the first ingredient.
The display will show that the first ingredient weighs 535 g.
Press [
/ZERO ] to set the scale to zero and add the next ingredient.
The display will show that the next ingredient weighs 68 g.
Press [
/ZERO ] again.
The display will show that the two ingredients together weigh 603 g.
Press [
/ZERO ] to set the scale to zero and add the next ingredient,
and so on.
