3. Turn on/off button from left (off) to right (on) for ignition.
See Fig. 2
.
4. Turn lever for adjusting the flame from left (-) to right (+), until you hear a soft hissing.
5. Push igniter forward to ignite the gas. Wait for 2 seconds until you release
the igniter.
6. Allow the tip to heat for 3–5 seconds.
The ceramic element inside begins to
turn red from the heat. Then the soldering
iron/heat gun nozzle is ready for use.
See Fig. 5
.
Adjusting the temperature
1. Adjust the flame to a length of 10–25 mm.
Do not make the flame longer, it just
consumes more gas and makes the flame
itself unstable.
2. If you need both hands free for the work
to be done, all you have to do is unfold
the support to make the soldering
iron stand.
See Fig. 6
.
3. Adjust the flame of the blow torch by
turning the lever for adjusting the flame
from left (-) to right (+), depending on
the temperature you need for your job.
See Fig. 7
.
Storage
• Make certain that the on/off button is in the
off
position and that the soldering
pen has cooled down before you store it and leave it unattended.
See Fig. 8
.
Note:
If the blow torch cannot be ignited owing to a worn out piezo igniter, you may
ignite the flame with an ordinary lighter. After ignition, you re-attach the soldering
head or the heat gun nozzle.
See Fig. 9
.
This Gas torch/Heat gun/Soldering iron contains no butane gas when sold.
