Operation
Before initial use
Clean the water basin, egg holder and lid using a moist cloth.
Using the egg boiler
• Fill the measuring cup with cold water and pour it into the water basin.
• Prick the wide end of each egg with the egg pricker, this reduces the likelihood
of the egg cracking whilst it is boiling.
• Place the eggs into the holder, place the holder over the water dish and fold
down the lid.
• Select the hardness of the eggs using the boiling time control:
runny
medium
hard boiled
• The settings are based on medium-sized eggs. It is also possible to set
the boiling time manually, depending on the number and size of the eggs
to be cooked.
• Plug the egg boiler into a convenient wall socket and switch it on using the
on/off switch. The power indicator light should now be lit.
• An audible signal is emitted when the preset boiling time has elapsed.
• Turn the appliance off. The power indicator light should now go off.
• Pull out the plug from the wall socket.
• Open the lid.
Warning:
When the lid is raised, hot steam will be released.
• Remove the egg holder containing the eggs from the water basin and rinse the
eggs under cold water.
N.B.
If the eggs are not immediately removed from the basin, they will continue to
cook and harden.
