HOW TO PREPARE THE MACHINE FOR OPERATION
How To Install The Batteries
The Fusion 20 machines use three 12-volt batteries.
The batteries are located in the battery compartment
under the battery cover.
To Install the batteries, follow this procedure:
1. Set the parking brake.
2. Remove the battery cover.
3. Remove the two screws that attach the
main body to the back of the frame, leaving
the two angle brackets attached to the main
body.
4. Remove the hose from the pad housing.
5. Remove the main body.
6. Place the batteries in the tray as shown in
figure13
WARNING: Lifting batteries without
help could result in an
injury. Get help to lift the
batteries. The batteries are
heavy.
WARNING: Working with batteries can
be dangerous. Always
wear eye protection and
protective clothing when
working near batteries.
NO SMOKING!
7. Connect the battery cables between
batteries as shown. See figure 13.
8. Join the connector from the battery pack to
the connector on the control panel. See
figure 14.
9. Reassemble machine.
NOTE : Charge the batteries before using the
machine.
