CD/USB Mode Operations
Connecting a USB memory/MTP device
1. Connect the USB memory/MTP device into the port with
the correct direction.
2. Always insert the USB memory/MTP device fully into the
port. Incomplete connections may cause the USB memo-
ry/MTP device not be recognized.
3. Depending on the number of tracks recorded, some
amount of time may be required until all tracks are read
into the unit. It will take some time to read the USB mem-
ory/MTP device before playback begins.
4. USB memory/MTP devices may have different shape de-
pends on brands. Some USB memory/MTP devices may
not be able to plug into the port due to the shape design.
Please use an extension cable instead.
5. Please reconnect the USB memory/MTP device when it
cannot be detected properly.
Notes:
Do not forcibly connect the USB memory device to the port with incor-
rect direction as this will damage the USB memory device as well as
the USB slot.
Watching/Listening to a track with USB
memory/MTP device
1. If a USB memory/MTP device have been inserted, press
the
[HOME]
button to select the USB/iPod mode.
Notes:
When USB memory/MTP device is first time loaded, the system will
go to directory display.
If you reconnect the same device that you disconnected last, the
system will playback where it left off.
CAUTION
For safety driving purpose, avoid inserting the USB mem-
ory/MTP device directly into the USB port.
Please use an USB extension cable instead for USB con-
nection.
Always backup and save important data on your com-
puter.
Unplug the USB memory/MTP device
1. Remove the USB memory/MTP device from the USB slot
during playback, system will direct return to Tuner mode.
2. Remove the USB memory/MTP device from the USB slot
during reading, system will show “NO DEVICE”.
Notes:
If the device has no supported files, “NO FILE” is displayed.
If you reconnect the same device that you disconnected last, the
system will resume the last playback position.
