Setting the Throughput with
loss control
Set the CRUISE PILOT the same as described in the previous throughput section,
drive the Combine into the standing crop to the maximum amount of loss that is
acceptable.
Adjust the sieve loss sensitivity so that the loss triangles are shown
half full.
Adjust the rotor loss sensitivity so that the loss triangles are shown
half full.
The forward speed of the Combine will be regulated by the target throughput
until the losses start to flash within the gauges. To slow the combine either adjust
the target throughput or the sensitivity of the loss sensors.
CRUISE PILOT when unloading
During unloading the CRUISE PILOT automatically changes to Cruise Control mode
which gives a constant speed, this will be 7% - 15% slower than the current
forward speed. After the unloading tube has been folded back into transport
position it will automatically re-engage the previous CRUISE PILOT mode.
To override this while unloading, press the Autopilot button on the control lever
which will re-engage the previous driving mode.
