Furthermore, tractors to be used in the European
Community have a marking (1) which is proof that the cab
conforms to standard EN 15695-1. The marking is located
at the back of the cab, next to the tractor information plate.

The category indicated on this marking gives information
about the protection level provided by the cab against
dangerous substances such as dust, aerosols, and vapour.

The cab conforms to the category 2:

-

This cab category offers protection against dust but not
against aerosols or vapour.

-

Tractors equipped with this cab must not be used under
conditions requiring protection against aerosols and
vapour.

Category 2

EN 15695-1

841msn00m

This dust filtering level is achieved only when the following conditions are met:

-

All cab opening elements must be closed.

-

The cab ventilation must be set to obtain the maximum ventilated air.

-

The cab filters must be cleaned regularly or as required, and replaced at the intervals specified in the
maintenance intervals.

6.1.11 Passenger seat

6559

-

It is prohibited to transport a passenger without a seat provided for this purpose.

-

The use of the passenger seat is strictly forbidden during applications related to work (e.g. when working in the
field).

-

The passenger is also obliged by regulations to wear a seat belt. Consequently, observe the regulations in force
in the country of use.

6.1.12 Protecting the environment

6577

Precautions must be taken with waste in order to protect
the environment. Some liquids or parts such as oil, fuel,
cooling and brake fluids, filters and batteries pollute the
surroundings. Recover these liquids in sealed packaging
so as to dispose of them in compliance with the local
requirements applicable and the regulations in force in the
country.

6.1.13 Using a front loader

5766

Tractors to be used in the European Community must, if using a front loader, be equipped with a protective
structure (FOPS - Falling Object Protective Structure) which protects the driver from falling objects.
