Ecomony mode
To ensure engine starting, in cer-
tain situations the vehicle goes
into economy mode.
When the engine is switched off,
you can still use some of the elec-
trical equipment (audio system, air
conditioning, wipers...) as well as
the headlamps (using the remote
control or the steering wheel con-
trols).
After a variable period of time (de-
pending on the functions being
used), these functions switch off
automatically.
To reactivate them immediately,
you will need to start the engine
again, and let it run for a few min-
utes to enable the functions to
operate when the engine is next
switched off.
Note :
When the vehicle goes
into economy mode, a message
is displayed on the multifunction
screen.
•
S : Steering lock
To unlock the steering, gently
move the steering wheel while
turning the key, without forcing it.
•
M : Drive position
Depending on the version of
your vehicle, the following warn-
ing lamps should also come on
for a short time :
NEVER REMOVE THE IGNITION KEY BEFORE THE VEHICLE
HAS COME TO A COMPLETE STOP.
IT IS ESSENTIAL ALWAYS TO KEEP THE ENGINE RUNNING
IN ORDER TO RETAIN BRAKING AND STEERING ASSISTANCE
(risk of triggering the steering lock and rendering the safety features
inoperative).
When stationary, having removed the key, turn the steering wheel
gently if necessary to ensure that the steering lock engages.
