H I - F I S Y S T E M

Your vehicle may be equipped with a Philips Hi-Fi system, specially designed to ﬁ t in with your cabin interior.

It consists of :

- A DSP (Digital Signal Processing) high power digital ampliﬁ er,

- A low subwoofer box (30Hz – 100 Hz),

- 8 Philips-speciﬁ c loudspeakers,

- an MP3 reader.

Adjustment in CD or radio mode

The basic functions remain the same as those for the radio.
No extra adjustment is necessary.

However, to proﬁ t fully from your Philips system, you are recommended to adjust the audio functions: bass (Bass),

treble (Treb), front/rear balance (Fad), left/right balance (Bal) to position

, Loudness (Loud) to position

for

listening to a CD and to position

OFF

for listening to the radio.

Your system also gives you Dolby wrap-around sound for Pop, Rock and Classical.

In the event of poor reception of the FM stereo signal and/or the mono source, deactivate the sound ambiances.
