5.12.1 CAPTION MODE
Characters can be displayed on the TV screen when the
received
broadcast signal contains
the caption signals.
Paint-on mode: Displays input characters on the TV screen immediately.
Pop-on mode: Once characters are stored in memory, it is displayed all at once.
Roll-up mode: Displays the characters continuously by scrolling (max. 4 lines).

5.12.2 TEXT MODE
Characters can be displayed on the TV screen when the received broadcast signal contains
the text signals.
Display the text on the screen by scrolling (max. 7 lines).

5.12.3 CLOSED CAPTION SELECTION
NOTE:
If one of the caption [TEXT1] to [TEXT4] is selected but the received broadcast signal does
not contain the text signal, characters will not be displayed.

When the C.MUTE mode is selected, the display switches to the ON mode and the channel switches
to 1 automatically. At this moment if you are watching the TV program, press the MUTE button on the
remote control to turn off the sound portion of the TV, the content of CCD1 will be displayed on the
screen automatically.
