3. Turn Power OFF
Press the “ POWER / START” switch to turn off.
4. Subsequent Measurement
When a m easurem ent is need again, 10 m inutes, interval
is necessary between m easurem ents.
5. Automatic Power OFF Function
If the unit is left w ithout any operation after m easure-
m ent, an “ Autom atic Power-OFF Function” runs to turn
off the power after approxim ately 3 m inutes. To continue
m easurem ent, press the “ POWER / START” switch again.
6. Battery Replacement
If the batteries are alm ost em pty, the “ ” m ark will be
displayed. In this case, batteries should be replaced with
new one.
Rem ove the battery cover at m ainfram e and replace four
type “ AA” batteries.

Note: The m em ory data are erased w hen you replace the
batteries.
• The batteries that are included power the m onitor. They
m ay not last as long as indicated.
• If m anganese batteries are used at a low room tem pera-
ture, such as in the winter or for other reasons, the bat-
teries m ay not function properly and you m ay not be able
to m easure your blood pressure.
• Please dispose of used batteries properly to protect the
environm ental.
