Service DIP Switch

This server includes a DIP switch on the I/O riser module that you can use to recover from a corrupted 
BIOS.

DIP Switch Location on the I/O Riser

switches is open (down). 

The I/O riser is the removable card that includes the rear-panel serial and VGA connectors. See 

Figure 3-5
