Making a call using the Touch
controller
If your telePresence endpoint has a touch controller see
the dialing example on this page.
About the ISDN number
• the
ISDN number
is the number to the far end
endpoint (for example an MXP codec).
Replace the number used in the example (8000) with
the number you want to call.
About restricted calls
If using the
ISDN
Restrict
option, choose the
Restrict
in the
Call settings menu.
How to make the call
touch the panel gently to wake up the system.
1. tap
Dial
or
Contacts
and enter the ISDN
number
you
want to call.
If the default call protocol is set to ISDN (H320),
proceed to
Step 6
, else proceed to
Step 2
.
2. tap the
More
(
•••
) button to open the call dialog.
3. tap
Call rate
button to open the ISDN call settings
menu.
4. Move the call protocol slider and choose
ISDN
.
5. Move the bandwidth slider to set the appropriate
call
rate
, or if dialing a telephone number, use the slider
to choose
Audio Only
.
6. tap the green
Call
button to make the call.
Connecting the call may take up to 30 seconds.
