Network Setting > IP Filter
The
Network Setting > IP Filter
page controls the access permission of clients by
checking the client’s IP addresses. When you complete the configuration, click
Save
to save the settings; otherwise click
Cancel
to discard the changes.
Enable Filter
Check the
Enable IP address filtering
box to enable IP filtering. Uncheck the box
to disable this feature.
There are two options for permission control in the drop-down list:
Allow
and
Deny
.
Only those clients whose IP address is in the Allowed List and not in the Denied
List can connect to the Cisco VC220 network camera to receive the audio or video
streaming. Both the Allowed List and Denied List can include a single IP address, a
list of IP address ranges, or a network mask.
If you want to add a new IP address, click the Add button and type the IP address
you want to allow or deny. There are three methods of filtering in the drop-down
list:
Single
,
Range,
and
Network
.
If you want to add a new IP Address range, click the
Add
button and enter the
Begin IP Address on the left text box and End IP Address in the right text box. If
you want to add a new Network, click the
Add
button and enter the Network you
want to
Allow
or
Deny
.
If you want to remove an existing IP Address, IP address range, or Network, make
a selection from the menu and click on the
Delete
button. Both the Allowed List
and Denied List can have up to 10 entries.
