Installing the Shelf Controller Cards and Fabric
Cards

This chapter provides instructions on installing the shelf controller cards and fabric cards in the Cisco NCS
6000 Fabric Card Chassis (FCC).

This chapter also includes instructions for installing a multi-chassis fabric card in the Cisco NCS 6000
Line Card Chassis (LCC) which is a component of the Cisco NCS 6000 Multi-Chassis system.

Note

Throughout this chapter, abbreviated terms are used to identify the formal names of the cards that make up
the Cisco NCS 6000 Multi-Chassis system.
